St. Emily Spanish
Spanish is only offered to grades 7th and 8th, yet there is a spanish club for younger students.
Both 7th and 8th grade students have Spanish for three periods a week. They will cover material approximately equivalent to the first semester of Spanish I in high school.
Vocabulary topics include food, family, school, describing people, days, months, telling time and numbers. Grammar topics include conjugation of regular verbs, conjugation of the most frequently used irregular verbs and adjective – noun agreement.
