Wednesday, October 23rd: “Be Red-dy” for Drug Awareness Week!
Students wear something red to signify the beginning of Red
Ribbon Week. JEANS can be worn… No shorts, though!
Thursday, October 24th: “Send a Message. Stay Drug-Free” Day
Students will receive an envelope with an up-lifting, positive
message from Student Council. They will wear their uniforms or PE
Friday, October 25th: “Drugs Arrrrrn’t Good for You!” Day
Dress and Talk like a Pirate Day… NO SWORDS or WEAPONS! This is
a dress-down day, but be sure to bring gym shoes if it’s a PE day
Monday, October 28th: “Drugs Mess You Up from Head to Toe” Day
Students wear crazy hats and/or have messy hair as well as
mismatched socks. They will wear their uniforms or PE clothes.
Tuesday, October 29th: “I’m too Bright to do Drugs” Day
Students wear neon or bright colors to emphasis their desire to stay
drug-free. JEANS can be worn… No shorts, though!
Wednesday, October 30th: “’Lei’ off Drugs” Day
Students receive a Hawaiian necklace as a symbol to stay positive
and enjoy the beauty in the world. They will wear their uniforms or
PE clothes. THIS IS ALSO THE OCTOBER DRESS DOWN DAY, SO
THOSE STUDENTS MAY DRESS DOWN!
Thursday, October 31st: “Scare Off Drugs” Day
Students wear costumes to “hide” who they are, so drugs won’t
find them. No blood, scary masks, or weapons allowed.
