St. Emily Drama Club

The St. Emily School Drama Club began in 2005.  Since then, students in grades 4-8 have starred in many productions including:

• A Christmas Carol
• The Nutcracker Ballet
• ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas
• How the Grinch Stole Christmas
• A Night at the Movies (dance)
• A Night at the Theatre (dance)
• The Wizard of Oz
• Peter Pan
• Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
• Aladdin
• Treasure Island:  A Wacky Pirate Play
• Beauty and the Beast (current production, Spring 2012)

Drama Club meets after school for rehearsals.  All students learn how to work as a team, build friendships, and have a really good time!  Participating in live theatre enables each student to build confidence and learn the value of hard work and dedication in a fun environment.  Many former Drama Club students have continued their “acting careers” in high school productions at Hersey and St. Viator’s!!
